Nadamaadum poochedi

Filed under: Life as I know it — Celia Rexselin @ 2:03 am

Heard this ‘uyire uyire’ song from thotti jeya and it left me singing the note again and again.
I didn’t even realize that I was singing ‘ nijam thaane keladi, ninaivellaam neeyadi, nadamaadum poochedi, neeyennai paaradi’ repeatedly till my little one asked me.

‘Nadamaadum poochedi yaaru amma?’

Blinked for a minute and then said, ‘ nee thaanda kanna’

‘Illa illa. Amma thaan nadamaadum poochedi. Amma thaan poo maadhiri vaasama irukka’

Should say I was clean bowled. My sweet art knows how to make my life heavenly with just a few words..

Reality is stranger than fiction

At times, there are situations which don’t make sense. How do you react when you have a person who is going through turbulent times? Do you try to cheer him up? Or do you sit still with him? Do you try to distract him?

And what do you do to those people to do politics even in a upsetting situation?

The learning that I get is to become more cynical day by day. But there is something primitive inside me that doesn’t want to grow up and be the child always.. Don’t know whatever will become of me..

At this stage, the only good thing is a way down in the gut confidence that he who sees me and loves me will teach me how to be sensitive to others feelings too. Hope god gives me enough wisdom to handle the situation.

when love rules, power disappears..

Filed under: Life as I know it — Celia Rexselin @ 10:29 am

I saw this comment in another social networking site. The full phrase goes like this..
When love rules, power disappears. When power rules, love disappears.

How true!! I think this can be applied to both work and personal life.
In my work life, I have had authorities who were like tyrants or task masters. Or people who give you work and rate you based on what you do.
But I have also had authorities who have their priorities in sync with you, people with focus and who can infect you with their passion.. Its those people you would like to work for.

Same for personal life too. When you love a person, what they say or don’t say matters. You”l do anything for them. But when this person tries to take advantage of you, whatever they do, they just lose you.
