Tried out this simple powder that can serve as an accompaniment for rice.
Ingredients:
1 cup tuvar dal (thuvaram paruppu)
4-5 red chillies
1/2 teaspoon pepper
salt to taste.
Preparation time – (takes lesser than 5 minutes, believe me!!)
Method:
1) Broil (dry fry) pepper and chillies and keep it aside.
2) Broil tuvar dal till it turns golden brown and keep it aside.
3) Grind the ingredients.
4) Add a little salt and mix/grind once more.
5) Its done. Will taste excellent if you have it with rice. You can add either gingelly oil or ghee to the rice.
Let me know how it comes out 🙂
Our college has a group and we occasionally send group mails to everyone and use that for chatting or pulling each ones legs. These days, I had got really busy (Yes!!) and was not able to follow up on the conversations.
When I finally managed to look into the conversations, this is what I found. A group of guys are talking about some issue which God!!! only will understand.
Voila, I got my sony k750i finally. Thanks to you all for your valuable suggestions. I tried taking some pics to post in the blog but it all seemed out of context. Thats when I thought of this series.
This series would be a cartoon strip (which will be clicked from k750i) and would depict a particular blogger’s behaviour/character in his/her blog. It could be you, your blogger friend or someone you might not even know.

You: To whom?
Moi: To Yourself kiddo!!
You: Who is kidding whom? Why would I want to give to myself?
Moi: Coz, you can get it back 14 years later. I would store it in my time machine till then (not exactly, it is time capsule).
You: You are nuts!!!
Moi: Nah, check this out and see for yourself.
Signal near Saidapet – a matter of 2 minutes.
1) a group of people try crossing the road, an elderly person leading them.
2) A pair of love birds on a bike. The girl covering herself with her dupatta not minding the sun.
3) A middle aged couple on a honda activa – The guy tries to adjust his rear view mirror. The lady sitting behind smiles on it –
4) A group of youth (supposedly college) on a bus. Seem to be singing some song..
5) As I turned, a guy on bike tries peeking inside my cab (Adengappa!!)
Is it a coincidence that I was listening to these words of this beautiful song?
“The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky are also on the faces of people passing by.”
You should listen to this wonderful song by Norah Jones.
