Its heaven!!

How good and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in unity!

— Psalms 133:1.

Yeah, its indeed a blessing to be with one's siblings/cousins and have a nice heart to heart talk.. After a long time, my uncle's children (3 daughters and 1 son) had come home for an one night stay… None of us had planned for it and since it happened all of a sudden, it was more of fun.. Starting from,

College student – akka, gimme a dress to wear at night.. no this dress is too tight for me.. Err.. yeah this is correct.. but no.. the hand part is tight".

School Goer- Ayyo!! I still have biology paper akka.. wud u mark important questions for me? wud they ask from 'inside the book' ?

Uncle's son- Hey akka!! don't u think u eat too much? Gundaaayidu va!!

Everyone- u r gonna sleep next to me tonight, No… next to MEEE.. No no, between both of us.."

Cooking, sleeping, going to church and a casual chit-chat which lasted for 5 hours!!! (ever had a conversation which lasted for 5 hours??).. have to say that its been one of the nicest days of the year..

Well, otherwise, last week was more hectic (which explains my absence!!) than any other week.. The update is, I managed to write my french exam.. (God only knows, whether I'll pass or not!!)..

  3. raising girls is a breeze. Never had a problem teaching the daughters of my cousins or neighbours but even babysitting the boys was such a headache – I often cursed their parents for not whacking the living daylights of the boys whenever needed 🙂

@CyberRowdy- Yes. Uncle loves them a lot

@thetalkativeman- I disagree… Kids r like flowers.. tender, soft, bright and innocent.. The same thing applies whether its a boy or a girl.. I know this since am born in a family that has abundant of guys and have seen them since childhood!!

  11. Bindu,
we can never generalize it. I’ve seen 5 y/o terrors kick their sister in the stomach or repeat verbatim the dialogues of movie villains(‘saale, tere ko maardoonga!’) – they are more prone to do it 🙂 Girls do stupid things too but their craziness level is low.
