Cook or Girl?

Filed under: When I get wild — Celia @ 10:53 pm

For original post, please refer to lazy geeks blog.

This classified got our attention in our galaata gang and we had a very serious talk about it.

Charlie:
This classified looks very much like wedding ads. Aren’t girls asking for Doctor/Engineer guys with affluent background in marriage and all?

Maxiamma:
Theres no problem in guy asking for a girl room mate. But how the hell can he say that “she should cook and he will pay the rent”?

Mike:
He might have thought that another guy wouldn’t cook that well. Other than that, these issues are common practice in US.

Moi:
If he needs a cook, why can’t he ask for a male/female cook? Why specifically ask for a girl?

Appuram conversation rombe muthi poi, I started wondering whether he got a room mate or not.

  4. @guz boss- sum look beyond that? as in???

    Thanks for dropping by 🙂

@vatson- Whoever said guys are terrible cooks? I think that this is always an excuse to leave the dirty work(excusez moi!! mon don’t think so) to women folk..

He could always have asked for a female cook of any age. He asking for a girl roommate implies, that he can’t afford to pay a cook, and even if the cook agrees to stay with them for no money, he might not be willing to share his room with an oldie!!

But in this case, food bhi food! timepass bhi timepass!! 50-50

But for all we know, this guy might have meant a female cook and in his haste, wrote a two liner like this.

@anbae- Its catching up!!! But I guess, even in US, these kinda acts are called living together. I suppose we have to turn a blind eye to everything!!
